It was 8:30AM when I was greeted by spotlights, smoke machines, palm trees, a DJ, and a Tech MC. I didn’t know what to expect going into Disrupt. After all, I’ve heard Disrupt is the Mecca for all things EUC. Indeed, the event lived up to its hype.
As the saying goes, 'Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.' New strategic partnerships, alongside the divestiture of crucial products and services within the industry, compounded by the reality of over 200% increases in renewal quotes, have left customers feeling perplexed in all sorts of ways. It’s a pressing time where leaders must rethink their strategies and adapt to the recent changes in the virtualization landscape. Disrupt couldn’t have come at a better time.
800 global attendees comprising of vendors, partners, and customers all gathered to innovate and reshape the future of endpoint computing. It was no surprise that Forthright’s incredible partners stole the show. IGEL made 20 riveting new announcements, including 50+ IGEL Native Apps, Citrix +IGEL SASE solution by NetScaler (Calvin Hsu and Matthias Haas), and AVD HCI Support. IGEL and LG showcased major advancements in endpoint security, along with the introduction of digital signage solutions. IGEL OS now supports Windows365 Frontline - oh, and Imprivata support!
What really fascinated me was watching IGEL’s read-only Preventive Security Model in action, in real-time, recovering from endpoint ransomware in less than 1 minute.
Workloads are shifting away from traditional endpoint to hosted environments such as VDI, DaaS, or pure cloud SaaS applications. This provides organizations an incredible, transformative opportunity to re-think and future-proof their endpoint strategy and take a better approach to endpoint security. In a time where so much uncertainty lies in an ever-changing industry, we are proud to be partners with IGEL to deliver a first-class user experience. Together, Forthright and IGEL make it a mission to optimize endpoint strategy and enhance user experiences, paving the way into the future of tech innovation.
